Anyone could have been condemned to die if he had fallen into the hands of the occupier. But the individual who receives commutation from men fighting for a sacred goal, for which they make many sacrifices, is extraordinary. And I am sure the organization has given us this right to live and to continue to fight for our most worthy ideals."
